ARTWORK
I see Possibilities
Size : 91 cm x 91 cm Medium : Mixed media on canvas (Acrylics, Spray Paints, Pastels, Oil Pastels, Oils) The artwork "I See Possibilities" holds personal significance to me, as it emerged from a moment of profound introspection. As I found myself at a crossroad of life, grappling with uncertainties and changes, I found myself drawn to the creation of an abstract portrait with flowers covering the subject's eyes—an embodiment of the barriers we often place upon ourselves, blinding us to the endless possibilities that surround us. As I immersed myself in the creative process, each layer of color and texture became a journey of transformation and acceptance of change. With every stage of the creative process, I peeled back the layers of apprehension and disquiet, allowing the vibrant hues of the flowers to burst forth, possibly highlighting the boundless potential that exists within every challenge, our determination to seek out the best even at the worst of our times. |
Whispers of a Dream Size : 45 cm x 60 cm Medium : Mixed media on canvas (Acrylics, Spray Paints, Acrylic Inks, Texture mediums) “Whispers of a Dream” is my reflection on fleeting moments of beauty that often pass us by. The shades of blue represent the calm and introspective space I often retreat to, while the textured orange and purple flowers remind me of life’s vibrancy that blooms even in stillness. The hummingbird, with its delicate purple wings, symbolizes the freedom to explore, to be present in the moment—something I try to embrace in my own life. The spray paint splatters and drips add an element of spontaneity, reflecting the unexpected twists that make life—and art—so full of possibility. Through this piece, I hope to capture that perfect balance between serenity and movement, stillness and vibrancy, inviting you to pause and dream along with me. This painting captures a fleeting moment of beauty and serenity, as if nature itself is whispering a secret message to the dreamer within us all. |
