Chaitrali Bandekar

Chaitrali is a versatile and spontaneous artist based in Singapore, who loves working across genres- from abstracts, semi-abstracts currently to portraiture in recent past. Her artworks often express her continued wonderment of Nature, the life lessons and meditative calmness she draws from Her.
Chaitrali continually experiments with different mediums, and also uses an array of everyday objects and tools to create interesting effects and textures. Her repertoire also includes mixed media artworks, decorative murals and sculptures.

She has shown and sold her artworks in several exhibitions in Singapore and India. Her works are currently held in private collections in Singapore as well as across the globe.

Feel the serenity when one with nature especially listening in on the flow of the streams in the mountains and/or waves in the ocean. This piece reminds me that one should just go with the flow, place your trust in the Universe and the rest simply falls in place.

The warmth of the sun in winter sky is akin to feeling safe and cosy in the mother’s womb. The gurgling brooks remind of the peels of her innocent laughter that alleviate all cares in the world, while the roots that hold on tight to Mother Nature beckon one to go find one's own,  reconnect and be one with the source.
