​Chin Wei is a Singaporean watercolour artist, specializing in plein-air painting. Her paintings primarily focus on capturing the distinct charms of Singapore's landscapes. Through her art, she seeks to preserve a visual record of Singapore amidst the backdrop of its continuous urban development. Her works invite viewers to reminisce and reflect on their personal connection to the city’s changing scenery and cultural heritage. Influenced by pioneering Singaporean watercolourists such as Lee Choon Kee and Peh Eng Seng, Chin Wei’s practice blends historical legacy with contemporary perspective.
