https://www.instagram.com/bigredchilli/ The artist, Douglas Campbell, came from an IT background before moving into graphic design and then into creating what he calls Circle Art. Each artwork is made up of thousands of circles of artcard to create an image. Each dot has a unique colour and is manually added to the artwork. This artwork is made up of 5,450 circles. The process from start to finish involves a number of steps from selecting and colouring the image to adding each circles to the artwork. The back of each circles is white and the colour of the circle behind it is reflected onto it. This creates a very interesting effect where you can view the image from both left and right. |
