BIO

Dr. Aruna Shahani 

A medical doctor by profession, born in Delhi, India, now a Singapore citizen, Aruna has been painting since childhood. A recipient of 2 International Awards in art as a child, she received her training in artistic skills from many masters in India, Sri lanka, Singapore, and in 2 Residential courses in France and Bali, Indonesia. Aruna loves to experiment with different media, techniques and styles of painting, contemporary art being her favourite. She has participated in many national and international group art exhibitions in Singapore with success. She is proud to be a part of a permanent installation (Wall Mural) at the Indian High Commission in Singapore, on the occasion of 75th anniversary of India’s independence (A project by Gnani Arts, Singapore) in 2023. Her vibrant paintings, pleasing to the hearts, adorn many homes/offices in many countries.
