Trained in Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts in 2005 with diploma in fine art (ceramic) and in 2006 with a degree (hons) in fine art painting and drawing, I was awarded the Georgette Chen Art Scholarship and Goh Chok Tong Youth Promise Award as well as a Commendation award during my studies. I was also actively involved in group art exhibitions and competition in which I clinched a 1st place for the International Lantern Making competition in 2003, 3rd place Christmas Tree making competition 2003 and 2nd place for body painting competition in 2003.
Along with my professional achievements, my journey had brought me to a teaching role as an art instructor in both primary and secondary schools and also an art practitioner in Singapore. Since then, I have committed to devote my significant time to the artistic activity. I became open to many other paths in my career which include being one of the artists for Maya Gallery, Singapore in 2013. I am also an active member of the Singapore’s Malay art society group APAD (Angkatan Pelukis Aneka Daya) in which two of my paintings was awarded the public choice awards in their annual art exhibition for two years in 2014 and 2016.
