As a child I loved drawing. While my sister read books, I doodled and sketched - even on my grandmother’s wall much to her dismay. As I got older, I realised I’d always find a great sense of joy and satisfaction in creating with my hands.
As a tactile person, my dream was to be in a pottery studio. That became a reality in 2021 when I discovered Padme Hum Studio. I quickly learnt that my true passion was in clay art and was soon fully immersed in it specialising in hand-building, and also teaching beginner ceramics for the next 3 years. I have connected with people from all walks of life, children and elderly, learning the
spontaneity and also patience required to create something that you can define as an extension of yourself. Working with clay felt very natural for me. It was very grounding and therapeutic; it was a tool for me to process and express. I have been blessed to have the opportunity to now use both my passions in complimentary of each other.​
