Isa Choo
https://www.instagram.com/isapieceofart/ Isa Choo (b.1999), an emerging artist based in Singapore, used to spend hours as a young child filling up every space in colouring sheets with crayons and colour pencils. The draw into the world of colours soon turned into a passion for paint brushes. What started as a hobby has evolved into a serious pursuit. Working primarily in acrylics and oil, her style leans toward realism. Her artistic process is immersive - she loses track of her surroundings when she paints, being fully absorbed in capturing her subject as vividly as possible. Her recent debut at Studio 5Seventeen's Texture Evolution Art Exhibition featured the Sweet Candy collection—a nostalgic series that had invited many viewers from different ages to ponder, reminisce, and share their personal memories. The experience has reaffirmed her goal to create art that both connects with and between people. Looking ahead, Isa seeks to continue creating art that captivates, evokes, and draws people in. |
