Jyotsna S Kumar Instagram: @jo.on.canvas Jyotsna is a Singapore-based abstract artist inspired by the mundane tasks of daily life and the intricate patterns found in nature. Her art captures fleeting moments, weaving visual thoughts into a tapestry of shape, hues, and layers to ignite wonder and connection. Each piece is created through experimentation, interaction and spontaneity of her thoughts and mediums, driven by her sense of visual balance. Her style has rapidly developed through constant refinement. Jyotsna has always worked in related fields in Singapore, initially as a graphic designer and, for the last 19 years, as a passionate art educator. She has a degree in Fine Arts, and trained in Western Abstract painting from Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts(NAFA) Singapore. Jyotsna has been participating in both local and international art exhibitions, showcasing her works globally. Her pieces have been acquired by private collectors worldwide. She has shown her work at Group Shows in Singapore with Be One Gallery and Canvas Connections. |
