Lisa creates on canvas, paper and panel, and works primarily in acrylics and mixed media. Combining a variety of layers, textures, and marks, her eclectic style reflects Lisa’s interest in odd and broken patterns both in nature and manmade. In both her non-representational pieces and more figurative work, you'll find a rich history of layers—a palimpsest: history overwritten without being forgotten—that lead viewers on their own personal journey. Lisa exhibited solo for the first time in 2018. Since then, she’s participated in several group shows in Singapore, and teaches small group ‘intro to acrylics’ workshops. Lisa’s work is in private collections in Canada, Dubai, Finland, Japan, Singapore, Spain, the UK, and the US. |
