BIO
Mohamad Quthubdean was born in 1984 in Singapore. He taught himself to paint realism in 2020, at the age of 36. His first painting won award in UOB Painting of the Year 2021, Singapore. He used to sketch a lot when he was young. His art journey stopped at the age of 15 because of higher education, career and family commitment. During COVID lockdown, his wife and daughter reignited his passion for art by completing 40 paintings. Mr. Quthub could not resist but to research on oil painting as he always had an interest for this medium. In 2020, he completed his first oil painting in few days and submitted it to UOB Painting of the Year 2021, Singapore, and won an award. Now Mr. Quthub is painting full-time and coaching students as well. He pursues excellence in his work and his paintings are inspired by the Qur'an. |
