BIO
Ng Yang Ce was from Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts Department of Dance. She picked up pottery while receiving her education in 2011. Ng Yang Ce enjoys creating works that have a great textural sensation and contrasting colors. She feels that perfection is the balancing act between manmade and natural. The everchanging clay provides internal peace. With this, she wishes to create ceramic pieces that are beautiful and refined, of relevance to human activities and which inspires everyday life. With over 10 years of experience in pottery- making, Yang Ce has participated in both local and international expos, residences and ceramic festivals. She also teachers ceramics professionally and uses art as a therapeutic medium to connect with the communities in Singapore. Yang Ce currently runs Sync Studio and Sync Gallery which aims to provide a space where creative growth happens for both creators and collectors. |
