ABOUT ARTIST
Rajul Shah
https://www.instagram.com/rajul_shah_art/ I am an international artist whose work engenders respite and renewal from the chaos of daily life. My art blends the Japanese Art of Kintsugi, the spiritual teachings of the Chakras in abstract expressions of color. Kintsugi is a metaphor for the human journey and nature. We, too, bear the scars of life's trials and tribulations. These scars, like the cracks in pottery, tell our unique stories and signify our strength.. What needs repair does not need to define us. We can heal, regenerate, and evolve into improved versions of ourselves, with renewed strength and purpose. My work has been shown at the National Art Gallery, the Ueno No Mori Museum and the Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Art in Tokyo, Tokyo Tower International Art Fair and ION Art Gallery and German Centre in Singapore. |
