In her paintings she expresses her intense feelings towards the relationship of Nature and Human in the realm of Universe. With influences of Bengal school and attributes of Far Eastern art she has created a unique fluid figurative style fused with natural elements , where she is able to synthesise any theme with ‘Tree of Life’ and ‘Mother and child’ showing a spirituality that undergirds any relation. Her distinct yet universal style of paintings are well recognised for many awards and well received in her solo exhibitions in Singapore and numerous international exhibitions in many cities of Asia, and Europe. Her stylised genre of painting is popular among collectors worldwide. Her painting ‘Dhara-The River’, commemorating Moitri Diwas of India and Bangladesh is in the permanent collection of High Commission of India, Singapore. |
