Sheena Bharathan, a visual artist based in Singapore, is a child psychologist by education and an artist by choice. She does her paintings as a series usually with a story or theme and sometimes as standalone.
Her inspiration is coined from lives of people around her. Paintings are her unique language to frame her observations. They are reflective of relationships with their inherent complexities and simplicities, active daydreams, unbidden fantasies and emotions of lives around her. Textural additions intensify the character in her paintings.
She has exhibited in local & international art fairs and her works are in private collections.
As she puts it in her own words “I hope my artworks speak not only for me, but also for the people who view my work”
