The Hush of Nature no.7 | 61x61cm |
Mixed media on canvas Artwork Description: Any walk through the parks or reserves in Singapore exposes you to a riot of colors, textures, and forms. The growl of the oriental pied hornbill is interspersed with the 'uwu' of the Asian Koel. The whites and pinks of the rain tree compete with the yellows of the Angsana, each contributing its own unique feature and enhancing the overall experience. This painting embodies the vibrant yet peaceful spirit of Singapore’s tropical landscape, celebrating its rich biodiversity and the calmness it offers amidst the hustle and bustle of urban life. The greens and the blues in the painting, evoke lush vegetation and tranquil waters, while the pops of yellow, red and orange hint at the exotic flowers and fruits. The fluidity and movement within the piece suggest the constant motion of nature and of the bustling life within the rainforest. |
