BIO
Artist. Tracy Oh Swee Ai
Born in Singapore in 1978, Swee Ai graduated with a Bachelor of Business and Commerce from the Western Sydney University in 2000. Initially a Compliance Engineer with audit experience for 18 years, she is now a full-time contemporary artist since 2018 after attaining her certificate in Western Arts from the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts. Since then she is the Committee Member of the Singapore Art Society, The Society of Chinese Artists, the Club NAFA and the Women Artists Association (Singapore) and Permanent Member of the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts Alumni Associaton and the Penang Art Society. Her style is a complex blend of impressionistic gestural brush strokes in oils with striking hues. With mostly local elements, her subjects comprise mainly of the cultures and traditions of Singapore. Swee Ai held her solo art exhibition “Serenity & Splendour” in December 2021 and “Simply Irresistible” in April 2023. She has been invited to exhibit at various international shows and her works have won several art awards in her artistic career. With numerous exhibitions over the years, her artworks can be found in the collections of organizations, museums and private individuals. |
