ARTWORK
Self Portrait
121.92cm x 91.44cm (without frame)
127cm x 97cm (with frame)
Acrylic paint on canvas
This piece is a playful exploration of identity inspired by my childhood memories of joyous and carefree days. Using acrylic paints, I created a stylized representation of myself through a cartoon-inspired lens. Through this work, I hope to encourage others to embrace their authenticity and share love freely in the world around them.

BIO
Vivienne Wong
https://www.instagram.com/fulloflifeartz/ Drawing inspiration from the ordinary, Vivienne Wong transforms mundane daily life into a world filled with boundless possibilities on canvas. In her early years, she was captivated by the world of drawing and painting; to her, art is a method of communication—a tool she uses to express her thoughts about the world we live in. "Do what you love, Love what you do." Cliché, but still this quote rings true. Art allows her to express herself freely through experimenting with different colours, textures, materials and movement. This freedom and imagination we had when we were children, but have sadly lost along the way. Through art we regain the ability to dream. There are an endless number of ways to create art, and thus to create life. And so, she encourages everyone to pursue their dreams, and rediscover the imagination within. |
