Voice of Art 6: Pause to Begin marks the continuation of our artistic journey in Singapore. Following VOA 5, “Roots & Wings,” which explored growth and foundation, this edition turns its focus to a timeless yet essential principle — the importance of pausing. At every stage of life and along every path to success, moments of pause are not only necessary but meaningful. They do not represent an end; rather, they offer a conscious space to rest, recharge, reflect, and realign. From this stillness, we move forward once again with renewed clarity, purpose, and intention, ready to begin anew with greater depth and direction.

One of the key highlights of this exhibition is the selection of three outstanding artworks by three participating artists in Voice of Art 6. This recognition is designed to encourage artists to continue striving for excellence, nurturing their passion, and expanding the boundaries of their creative practice. It serves as both a celebration of artistic achievement and a meaningful encouragement toward continued growth, dedication, and artistic evolution.

Another important highlight of the exhibition is the Young Artists Art Competition: Art for Tomorrow. This initiative is dedicated to supporting and encouraging students in Singapore who are passionate about art. It provides not only a valuable platform to showcase their work, but also a unique opportunity to exhibit alongside the professional artists of Be One Gallery.

More than a competition, this programme invites young artists to immerse themselves in the wider art community — to experience, learn, and grow. With over nine years of experience in the art field, we consider it our responsibility to nurture and uplift the next generation of artists.
